He kicked off his journey in Whanganui, serving both residential and commercial clients. As time rolled on, he joined a nationwide security company, handling installations and maintenance for big shots like banks, supermarkets, and logistics companies. His expertise even took him to Australia, where he managed security systems for global players, including a famous beverage company and a popular social networking platform.
During his Aussie stint, Ryan caught the eye of a New Zealand security firm, where he managed key clients, offering enterprise and technical support, and remote management of corporate infrastructure. Fast forward to 2021, and Sectek Security was born. Ryan’s driving force? A commitment to fair and honest service, coupled with superior workmanship, ensuring reliable installations and service you can count on.
Fast forward to 2024, and Sectek Security continues to support its local Whanganui and Manawatu clients while expanding to manage several large commercial sites. Despite this growth, Sectek Security remains dedicated to providing exceptional, service and support as it advances the business. In recognition of his contributions, Ryan was nominated for SME Security Technician of the Year in 2024, a true testament to the passion and driving force behind Sectek.
