How long is footage kept?
That depends on the number of cameras and the recorder’s storage. We size it to how many days you want to keep, and you can export clips any time.
Can I watch my cameras on my phone?
Yes. We set up the app for live view and playback, and show you how to find and save footage.
Can you work with my existing cameras?
Usually. We work on all systems, any brand, and will tell you honestly what is worth keeping and what should be upgraded.
Do I need signs for CCTV?
In most cases, yes. The Privacy Commissioner recommends letting people know cameras are operating, and we can help with signage and camera placement.
How much does a CCTV system cost?
It depends on how many cameras you need, the type of camera and how far the cable has to run. We visit for free and give you a clear written quote before any work starts.
Wired or wireless cameras?
Wherever we can, we run cable. A wired camera gets power and data down one cable and does not drop out. We use wireless links only where cable is not practical, like a shed across a paddock.
Do the cameras work at night?
Yes. Every camera we fit has night vision, and for areas that need colour at night we use cameras built for low light or add lighting.
