Can you automate my existing gate?
Usually, yes. We check the gate is sound, swings or slides freely and has good hinges or track first. If anything needs fixing before a motor goes on, we will tell you.
What happens in a power cut?
Many motors can run on a backup battery, and Centurion includes it as standard. Every motor also has a manual release, so you are never locked in or out.
Is an automatic gate safe with kids and pets around?
We fit safety beams and set up obstacle detection so the gate stops or reverses if something is in the way, and we test it before we leave.
Can I open the gate from my phone?
Yes. We can add phone control to most motors, so you can open the gate for a visitor or check it is closed from anywhere.
How often should a gate motor be serviced?
Once a year for most homes. Busy commercial and apartment gates benefit from more regular servicing.
